Crazy Life and New Positions

Do you ever feel like your life is chaotic and that you are slowly losing control? I have been slowly losing my mind since last Thursday. Why Thursday you might ask? Well, school is out. Children have been running in and out of my house constantly, schedules have been changed, it is light outside until insane hours of the night and my children seem to be hopped up on candy 24 hours a day. One night as I was sitting on my couch I looked up and saw my bookshelf. Books were leaning to one side, some are scattered about in big heaps and there seem to be pencils jammed into corners where they do not belong. Hey! This is what my life feels like right now!! I am my bookshelf....who would have thought? I feel scattered brained and have a thousand things to do, which never seems to have an end. I totally feel like I am leaning to one side at the end of a very long day. The pencils represent household chores....they should be done, but haven't been, so they are sticking out for all to see. I need to clean up my shelf, but how and when ...so right now, I will love it for what it is and deal.

I found sashi is a strange position the other day. She was reading upside down. I asked her a few questions:

Mom- Sashi, why are you upside down?
Sashi- I wanted to know if I could read this way.
Mom- Can you?
Sashi- Yes!
Sashi- Mom, it does give me a headache though.
Mom- Maybe you should stop then.
Sashi- No, I think I will stay this way, it is funny.
Sashi then cracks up and continues to read. I love my daughter, even if she does silly things.

What a great image....so like me life as well! I love Sashi's new reading position! Tyler used to say that he stood on his head so the blood would rush to his head and help him think better (when he was a little kid). :)

They are the phantom man's children.... I love the Sashi photo. And I'm sorry everything is so chaotic.
