I am a superhero and kids say funny things

This week has been overwhelming for me. Everyday has been jammed with activities or commitments that I had to do. EVERYDAY! What was I thinking to do "extra" stuff when I already have a full plate homeschooling Ian and doing activities at Sashi's school?!? I guess I must have been feeling like a "supermom" because I did in fact sign up for things....A blue and gold banquet for cub scouts, a dentist appointment for me, visiting teaching for church, a wearable art contest at school for sashi and a drive in at church for the primary. This doesn't sound like much for an average week...but you have to figure I am also homeschooling on top of this. Every last minute was filled with something....I HATED IT! I found out a few things about me though: I am a superhero (who knew) I don't need lots of sleep (overrated) and food does not sustain you adrenaline does! (cool) How did everything go? I know you are asking ... The banquet was wonderful and we had TONS of food. The dentist thinks I have the smallest mouth in the whole world for an adult and he feels sorry for me. Visiting teaching was a challenge, but I think I did a very good job. Sashi's wearable art was very cute and she had a blast parading her outfit throughout the halls of her school. The drive in was a success! (Yay) The week is FINISHED!

Sashi: Mom, I like gaming.
Mom: Oh! What do you like about gaming?
Sashi: I can always win
Mom: (smiling) You always win? How do you do this?
Sashi: I turn off the game.
Mom: Sashi when you turn off the game that is not winning.
Sashi: Yes, it is MOM...I am winning.. I never lose.

lead up story: Ian and sashi are fighting over the potty. Ian is sitting on the potty going number 2. Sashi comes running down the hall with her hands between her legs crying.

Mom: Why are you crying Sashi?
Sashi: I need to go to the bathroom.
Mom: Why dont you just go??
Sashi: Because Ian is sitting on the potty.
Mom: (shouting down the hall) IAN ARE YOU GOING NUMBER 1 OR 2?
Ian (shouting down the hall) I AM GOING NUMBER 2 AND YOU CAN'T RUSH PERFECTION!

Enough said.

I feel green

One lazy afternoon my daughter walks up to me and says, "Mom, can I eat some candy?" I told her yes she could and went on my merry way cleaning the living room. As I was cleaning not more then 5 minutes, my son appears by my side. "Mom, Sashi seems to be eating something that looks very good. She now wants to give me some, can I have it?" Sashi is standing at my other side with a big smile on her face, wanting to share her candy. I smirked and said sure. The children ran off to the kitchen and I went on working. I was alone for about ten minutes when both of my dear sweet children were at my side again. I turned off the vacuum and asked them what they needed. Ian had a strange smile on his face, one which showed me he was up to something. Sashi was jumping up and down in the same spot...wanting her brother to hurry up and tell me "the news."
Ian smiled, "Mom, I feel green *giggle* do I look green?" Before I could answer Sashi put her face mega-inches away from mine and stuck out her tongue "Mawa, I halwve a gween towunge." Ian then shoved Sashi out of the way and said, "Mom...I wanted to tell you about MY TONGUE FIRST!" I stood there before my children wondering what I should say...when I said..."Let me get the camera out!" Yay! Went the kids...and here is what I got!!
